Masters - Results and Findings

As set out in the introductory chapter of this research paper I have two main objectives, firstly to understand the lived experience of the nurses who have treated women with this condition in order to further the knowledge of pseudocyesis nursing care and then secondly to explore the nurses’ level of knowledge and understanding of the condition and the women who suffer from it. In this chapter I will therefore examine and interpret the findings from the case study interviews and then compare them against the findings from the literature review in order to understand the nurses lived experience and to explore and ascertain the nurse’s level of knowledge of the condition.
